If you are experiencing issues with your provided Tradovate credentials not working, please see the common solutions below.
Incorrect Username or Password
Using incorrect credentials is one of the most common reasons for login issues, especially if you have changed your Tradovate username and password in your platform settings. Keep in mind:
- Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive
- Having Caps Lock on or entering a letter with the wrong case can prevent login
- Extra spaces at the end of your username or password can also cause errors
If you have changed your username and password, you can submit a ticket here to have your credentials reset.
Failed Account / Inactive Subscription
Your Tradovate credentials will not work if you do not have an active account or if your subscription expires. To access the Tradovate platform, you must have an active account that is not in a failed status or with an expired subscription.
Blank Screen, Endless Loading, or Captcha Issues
If the Login button becomes unresponsive, gets stuck on βLoading…,β or youβre experiencing issues with the Captcha security system, the cause is often a clock synchronization issue on your PC. To sync your computer’s clock:
- Right-click on the clock on your Windows Taskbar
- Select Adjust date/time
- In the settings window, click Sync now
Should the issue persist, try clearing your browser’s cache and cookies and restarting your device.
Network Connection Issues
One of the most common causes of login issues is intermittent connection failures between your home network and the Tradovate servers. Unlike static websites or buffered videos, trading platforms require a constant, uninterrupted connection to both data and account servers, making any network drop immediately noticeable compared to many other online services.
In many cases, simply restarting your internet modem and the platform can resolve these issues. If the problem continues, we recommend ensuring that your computer is fully updated, you try clearing your browser’s cache/cookies, and trying a different browser to confirm it is not isolated to the one you are currently using.
