Legacy Products Overview

Apex Trader Funding has retired the previous versions of the Evaluation and Performance accounts. As of March 1st, 2026, these prior versions are no longer available for purchase.

These account types will now be referred to as Legacy Evaluation Accounts and Legacy Performance Accounts.

What happens if I have a Legacy account type?

Legacy accounts purchased prior to March 1st, 2026, will not be affected. These accounts can be traded as normal under their respective prior Legacy rules.

Will my Legacy account go by the new rules?

No, there are no retroactive changes to the rules or program for Legacy accounts. They will not be impacted

Will my Legacy account subscription be cancelled?

No, the subscription will remain active until it is cancelled by you, the user.

What happens when I pass my Legacy Evaluation account?

A Passed Legacy Evaluation will remain eligible for conversion to a Legacy Performance Account. Passed Legacy Evaluations cannot be converted into one of the new Performance Accounts offered.

Will the Legacy Performance Account payouts be affected?

No, Legacy Performance Accounts will still follow the prior payout structure and parameters, now referred to as Legacy Payouts.

Can I reset my Legacy Evaluation account?

Yes, resets are now only available on Legacy Evaluation accounts. 

Can I buy more Legacy evaluations if I already have some now?

No, as of March 1st, 2026, Legacy evaluation accounts are no longer available for purchase to anyone.

Can I reinstate a previously cancelled Legacy Evaluation account subscription?

Legacy accounts that have been cancelled cannot be reinstated.

Can I have Legacy accounts and the new accounts at the same time?

Yes, you can have a mix of Legacy and new accounts. The max PA accounts per household still applies, where the combined total of active Legacy PA, Intraday PA, and EOD PA must not exceed 20. There is still no limit to how many evaluations you may have.

Can I convert my Legacy account into one of the new account types?

No, Legacy accounts cannot be converted or transferred into any of the new account types. Legacy Evaluations cannot be transferred or converted into new Intraday or EOD Evaluations, and Legacy Performance Accounts cannot be transferred or converted into new Intraday or EOD Performance Accounts.
