Nasdaq Gains Over 200 Points; Dentsply Sirona Shares Fall After Q1 Results

U.S. stocks traded higher toward the end of trading, with the Nasdaq Composite surging over 200 points on Thursday. The Dow traded up 0.87% to 38,234.10 while the NASDAQ rose 1.45% to 15,832.17. The company reported adjusted earnings per share of 42 cents, in line with the street view. Quarterly revenues of $953 million missed the street view of $969.136 million.
