New York CNN  —  Tens of thousands of users reported outages on professional networking site LinkedIn on Wednesday afternoon, according to outage tracker Downdetector. LinkedIn confirmed the outage on X, saying its teams are working to resolve the issue. Users trying to access the Microsoft-owned platform are greeted with an error page on the website. “We seem to have encountered an error,” the page says. On the app, the page says LinkedIn is “having issues loading this page.” As of 4:25 pm ET, LinkedIn’s status page said the issue is still under investigation. Downdetector only measures self-reported outages, and may not fully show the extent of the outages.
