Transat A.T. Inc. said Monday that it would relaunch most of its summer routes as demand for travel continues to recover.
The Canadian airline said that it would gradually restart flights to 25 European destination beginning in April and said that it would operate more than 250 direct weekly flights on 69 routes at peak season.
Transat said it is consolidating its position in the transatlantic market as we as continuing to develop its services to the U.S.
"The outlook for the summer season is favorable, and our abundant air offering, which includes the vast majority of our pre-pandemic destinations as well as exciting new routes, is enabling us to respond to the significant pent-up demand," Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Joseph Adamo said.
