Dalata Hotel Group PLC on Tuesday reported a narrowed loss for 2021 as its revenue recovered to 40% of pre-coronavirus levels.
The largest hotel operator in Ireland booked a pretax loss of 11.4 million euros ($12.8 million) for last year, compared with a EUR111.5 million loss in 2020 and a EUR89.7 million profit in 2019.
Revenue was EUR192.0 million, up from EUR136.8 million in 2020 but still well below EUR429.2 million in 2019.
As for 2022, Dalata said it remains optimistic about the recovery of the business, noting that revenue per available room in February was at 91% of 2019 levels.
